KAMPALA, Uganda- The Ruparelia Group Board Chairman, Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia, has commended the government of Uganda for providing a conducive environment that has led to a significant influx of investors, boosting the country’s economic growth agenda.
He made the remarks while unveiling the new Pearl One Tower along Yusuf Lule Road in Kampala, which is now 90% complete.
Dr. Sudhir noted that the government has made a commendable effort by opening its doors to investors, who have responded positively by setting up various businesses including factories that have enhanced Uganda’s manufacturing potential.
“We would like to thank President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and his government for creating an investment-friendly platform, which has attracted scores of high-profile investors from around the world, particularly in the manufacturing sector, generating employment and income,” he said.
He further noted that the 16-floor high-rise tower, named the Rajiv Ruparelia Pearl Business Park, offers a conducive and fully furnished workspace suitable for both offices and businesses. The facility includes two basement parking levels and a spacious ground floor, providing convenience and accessibility.
Pearl Tower One is the latest addition to the Ruparelia Group’s growing portfolio of successful projects. With diversified interests in real estate, education, hospitality, and more, the Group has become a household name in Uganda. The completion of Pearl Tower One marks a significant milestone and reflects the Group’s long-term vision for Uganda’s economic development.
The brief event was attended by over 50 business tycoons and close family members, who praised the scale and quality of the project.
Speaking to this website separately, Dr. Sudhir stated that the family has invested a significant portion of its resources in social services and commercial developments to meet the growing demand for high-quality office and business environments where clients can work efficiently and comfortably.
He pledged that the Ruparelia Group of Companies, which currently owns over 30 businesses across Uganda, has the potential to offer world-class workspaces, including executive office suites, business premises, luxury hotels, and educational facilities, among others.
He concluded by urging the business community to book space at the new Pearl Business Park, emphasizing its quality and prime location.
