MTN Uganda announced the second monthly winner of the MTN Proggie quiz-based platform, Alex Tusingwire, who has won an all-expenses-paid trip to the breathtaking Sipi Falls. This follows the successful launch of MTN Proggie, a unique subscription-based quiz platform designed to engage, entertain, and reward customers while promoting Ugandan culture, history, and tourism.

MTN Proggie allows customers to subscribe and participate in daily quizzes that test their knowledge across various topics. With three subscription options—Daily (UGX 500), Weekly (UGX 2,000), and Monthly (UGX 5,000)—players earn points for every correct answer. The highest scorers on the leaderboard stand a chance to win exciting rewards, including MoMo cash, gift hampers, branded merchandise, concert tickets, and grand travel experiences to Uganda’s most beautiful destinations.

Since its launch, MTN Proggie has seen enthusiastic participation from customers eager to test their knowledge and win prizes. In December, the platform’s first monthly winner, Marvin Johns, was awarded an unforgettable trip to Murchison Falls, one of Uganda’s most iconic national parks. Now, Alex Tusingwire has emerged as the second monthly winner and will be traveling to Sipi Falls, accompanied by his wife.

Sipi Falls, located in Eastern Uganda at the foothills of Mount Elgon, is a renowned natural wonder celebrated for its cascading waterfalls, lush green landscapes, and thrilling outdoor adventures. This scenic destination offers breathtaking views, coffee plantation tours, and exhilarating hiking experiences, making it a perfect getaway for adventure lovers.

Road trip rule: When you’re heading to the East always stop at Namawojjolo for some roadside chicken. #MTNProggie

The platform is open and can be used by anyone who has an MTN Number and it cuts across all ages connecting Ugandans to the country’s diverse cultural and historical landscapes in an engaging and interactive manner.

In addition to the ongoing weekly leaderboard prizes of UGX 50,000, MTN Proggie is gearing up for more exciting travel experiences. In March, eight lucky participants will win a daycation in Jinja, followed by an ultimate grand prize trip to Mombasa at the end of the month. The more customers participate, the greater their chances of winning these extraordinary experiences.
