NRM Party Elections – Police at Kasese CPS is holding a one Morris Kithenge Masereka, 41 yrs Old, NRM Registrar of Ibanda Kyanya Town Council in Kasese District for allegedly causing the loss of 15 NRM party Registers.
It is alleged that the Registrar tampered with the register book that caused this loss and that what prompted Police to swing in action and had him arrested and detained.
The police has urged the public to remain calm and report any threat that would antagonize the Party Baraza and the voting Process.
Nelson Tumushime SP, Spokesperson Police Kasese asked the Public also to coordinate with the security agencies, Police , UPDF, Office of RDC to ensure that the process goes on smoothly and uninterrupted.
“Our team is on ground to ensure smooth process of the exercise,” he stated.
