NAPAK, Karamoja : The incoming Member of Parliament for Bokora County in Napak District, Karamoja Sub-region, Emmanuel Ilukol Gullit, has donated 10 tricycle motorcycles to support village-based ambulance services in the district.
Ilukol, who replaces John Bosco Ngoya, made the remarks at the National Theatre grounds shortly after taking the oath of office for Parliament on May 13, 2026.
He said that upon assuming parliamentary duties, he would ensure the delivery of the 10 tricycle motorcycles within his first 100 days in office. The donation is aimed at strengthening village-based ambulance services in hard-to-reach communities, as well as supporting peace committees in improving cattle rustling security tracking systems, all intended to supplement government efforts in peacebuilding.
He added that within the same period, he would donate a brand-new tractor to support district farmer groups and boost agricultural productivity.
Ilukol thanked all stakeholders who contributed to his victory, saying it was time for leaders and residents to join hands in fighting the deeply rooted poverty levels and strengthening community security teams.
