KAMPALA, Uganda — Brand Help Uganda, a Kampala-based public relations and personal branding agency, successfully hosted the second edition of its Personal Branding Masterclass, bringing together professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives, and institutional leaders to examine how personal identity, credibility, and visibility translate into real influence and opportunity.
The masterclass was held on Friday, 30 January 2026, at Protea Skyz Hotel, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and was led by Lyn Tukei, Founder of Brand Help Uganda and a leading voice in public relations and personal branding.
“Influence today is built long before the spotlight,” said Tukei. “It is shaped by clarity, consistency, and the discipline to show up with intention. A strong personal brand doesn’t chase attention; it earns trust.”
The session attracted participants from across multiple sectors, highlighting the growing importance of personal branding beyond traditional marketing and communications circles.
Guest speakers included Mr. Patrick Bitature, Chairman of Simba Group; Ms. Pumla Nabachwa, Lead Economist at the Bank of Uganda; Sandra Kahumuza, a news anchor; and Wasswa Moses, Chief Executive Officer of Swift Minds. Their varied perspectives enriched the discussions, demonstrating how influence operates differently across leadership, economics, media, and entrepreneurship, while remaining rooted in authenticity, credibility, and strategic positioning.
“Your title may open the door, but your reputation determines how long you stay in the room,” Tukei noted.
The masterclass focused on practical, results-driven insights around clarifying personal brand identity and professional narrative, building credibility and thought leadership with purpose, strategically leveraging both online and offline platforms, and translating visibility into tangible career, business, and leadership opportunities.
“In a crowded world, relevance belongs to those who are remembered for value, not volume,” Tukei added.
Through this second edition, Brand Help Uganda reaffirmed its commitment to equipping individuals with the insights and tools needed to build personal brands that command trust, influence decision-making, and create lasting impact.
