KAMPALA– MultiChoice Uganda has announced the return of Home of Our Stars season three, premiering this Sunday, 1st June at 9:00 PM on Pearl Magic Prime (DStv Ch 148 & GOtv Ch 303).

Now in its second season, Home of Our Stars continues to celebrate and spotlight the talent, personalities, and the behind-the-scenes stories of actors and actresses who have graced Pearl Magic Prime’s most popular productions. Each episode features engaging interviews, untold stories, and heartfelt reflections from the stars who are shaping Uganda’s vibrant film industry.

Speaking about the new season, Rinaldi Jamugisa, the PR and Communications Manager, MultiChoice Uganda highlighted the importance of giving local stars a platform to interact with their audiences away from the final product.

“Home of Our Stars allows the talents to interact with the audience in a more behind-the-scenes space. Here, the stars are able to tell their ‘untold’ stories of how they got into the industry, give insights, and show the public their real personalities. At MultiChoice Uganda, we believe that we have a wide pool of talent in the country and strive to give them a platform to shine.”

The film ecosystem leverages several skillsets on the production set in any single day between pre-production, production and post production; ranging from script writers, producers, actors, actresses, location managers, transport coordinators, health services, meals & nutrition, make-up artists, gaffers, sound recordists, camera crew, set runners, editors, set designers, costume designers, carpenters, masons, electricians, among many others and it is important that they tell their stories.

This season kicks-off with a one on one interview with the talented Nana Kagga, whose talent cuts across directing, acting, screenwriting, and producing. Hosted by the dynamic Juthianna Namazzi Ndugwa, the show provides a compelling platform for inspiring the next generation of creatives. The show also serves as a commitment to MultiChoice Uganda’s mission to promoting local talent and growing the Ugandan film industry.

Brian Mulondo, Local Content Marketing Manager at MultiChoice Uganda, expressed the company’s excitement and revealed the mission of the show and its return. He explained, “We are excited to bring back Home of Our Stars, a show that captures the spirit of Pearl Magic Prime. It is our mission as a brand to continue building a platform where Ugandan talents is seen, heard, and celebrated across the continent.

Tune in to Home of Our Stars every Sunday at 9:00 PM on Pearl Magic Prime (DStv Ch 148 & GOtv Ch 303) to catch the heartfelt conversations and captivating journeys of your favourite stars. Whether you are a fan of drama, romance, or the magic behind the camera, this show is your weekly dose of inspiration and entertainment.
