ENTERTAINMENT: Following the increasing chaos and violence in the music concerts staged on December 31, minister Hon. Dr. Balaam Barugahara Ateenyi has come out and criticised these deadly moves and actions fuelled by a few musicians and their gangs.

“Let’s restore discipline and decency in the art sector. Join me in condemning violence and promoting peaceful coexistence,” he posted.

Hon. Balaam also explains that in order to register such an achievement, no musician shall feature anywhere in their music shows across the country and thus rallied all event promoters not to book such musicians for six months until there is a behaviour change before reconsideration.

Abby Musingunzi of the Abtex promotions has sent out a heartfelt message to all event organisers and promoters indicating that no one under their federation should ever book Alien Skin for any show because of the chaos he and his hooligans caused on December 31.

He further accuses the Uganda police of creating fertile grounds for the vulgar music.

Abtex observes that some banned songs were performed at many concerts in the presence of security operatives, but no action was taken to enforce the ban either by arresting the performers or sending them off the stage.
