KAMPALA, Uganda : Security agencies have apprehended Nabete Grace, also known by the aliases “FBI” and “Escobar,” following a violent attack on Kawafu resident Batabane Richard.
According to Luke Owoyesigyire, Deputy Kampala Metropolitan spokesperson, the coordinated operation came after an incident on the night of 12th February 2026, when the victim was assaulted in his home.
Acting on credible intelligence, authorities raided Abaita Ababiri in the early hours of February 17, 2026, successfully arresting the suspect, who is now in custody to assist with investigations.
Police confirmed that efforts are ongoing to track down other suspects still at large. Police reassured the public of their commitment to maintaining safety and ensuring that all perpetrators are brought to justice.
