KAMPALA – Police have appealed to the public for information that could lead to the recovery of two students from the Uganda School for the Deaf in Ntinda who have been missing for more than a week.
The missing students have been identified as Muhoozi Alex, 16, and Mubiru Edrine, 14, both learners at the Uganda School for the Deaf.
According to Kira Road Police Division, preliminary investigations indicate that the two boys were last seen at about 1:00om on July 24, 2026, when they allegedly jumped over the school’s perimeter wall and left the premises. They have not been seen or heard from since.
Kampala Metropolitan Police deputy spokesman, Luje Owoyesigire said investigations into the disappearance are ongoing, with detectives pursuing several leads to establish the children’s whereabouts.
Authorities have urged members of the public who may have seen the two students or have any information that could assist the investigation to report to the nearest police station or contact the investigating officers.

Police emphasized that even the smallest piece of information could prove vital in tracing the missing children and reuniting them with their families and the school community.
They also appealed to the public to widely share the missing persons notice to support the ongoing search.
