Special Envoy of the President on Buganda Affairs, Joseph Ssewava, has visited Samson Kisekka Jr., son of the late former Vice President and Prime Minister Dr. Samson Kisekka, who is currently receiving treatment at Lubaga Hospital in Kampala.
During the visit, Ssewava commended Kisekka’s family for the continued care and support they have provided to him during his illness.
Ssewava also pledged to inform President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni about Kisekka’s condition, saying the President has a long-standing relationship with the late Dr. Kisekka’s family.
“He is a father and also a family friend to the late Dr. Kisekka’s family. He would not fail to help. The only problem is that he may not know about the situation. But since I am here, I am going back to inform the President about this news,” Ssewava said.
According to family members attending to Kisekka at the hospital, his condition has shown some improvement, with the patient now able to eat soft foods.
Ssewava urged the family to continue praying for Kisekka’s recovery and encouraged them to remain hopeful during his treatment.
Samson Kisekka Jr. is one of the sons of the late Dr. Samson Kisekka, a prominent Ugandan statesman who served as Vice President and later Prime Minister of Uganda.
