The Trinity College Nabbingo Old Girls Association (TCNOGA) has organized a free medical camp scheduled for June 9 at Nabbingo Catholic Parish Hospital, aimed at serving the surrounding community.
The medical camp, which forms part of TCNOGA’s ongoing community outreach and corporate social responsibility initiatives, will run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The event is being supported by St. Joseph’s Hospital Wakiso, the Rotaract Club of Nabbingo, Nabbingo Catholic Parish Health Centre III, the Kampala Archdiocese, and several other partner institutions.
Residents will have access to a range of free medical services, including eye screening, dental check-ups, blood pressure monitoring, general medical consultations, and blood donation services provided by the Uganda Blood Transfusion Services (UBTS), among others.
The announcement comes shortly after TCNOGA successfully held a fundraising dinner gala aimed at mobilizing resources for the construction of the proposed Trinity Junior School project, estimated to cost UGX 14 billion.
TCNOGA President Solome Marie Nassiwa Lubowa, who is currently serving her second and final term in office, has remained committed to rallying old girls and friends of Trinity College Nabbingo to support the association’s development initiatives.
Under her leadership, TCNOGA has successfully mobilized members to participate in various fundraising activities, including sports events and dinner galas, through which significant funds and materials have been raised to kick-start the construction phase of the junior school later this year.
The Trinity Junior School project is the flagship investment initiative spearheaded by Nassiwa and her executive committee. The project is intended to serve as a feeder school to Trinity College Nabbingo, ensuring continuity in the institution’s Catholic values and educational tradition while nurturing young girls as they progress through their academic journey into secondary education.
