Authorities have launched a manhunt for Patrick Mulwana, better known as Alien Skin, the lead singer of Fangone Forest, along with several of his associates, following an assault on staff at Nsambya Hospital.

Earlier this week, two security personnel and a doctor at a hospital in Kampala were allegedly attacked by the renowned dancehall artist and his crew, resulting in serious injuries that required hospitalization.

The altercation erupted after Alien Skin and his team arrived at the hospital in response to the tragic death of Joram Tumwesigye, a fellow crew member who had been involved in a car accident.

Tumwesigye was rushed to the facility for treatment, but unfortunately, he did not survive.

Reports indicate that the accident took place in Makindye, close to the Fangone Forest headquarters. Once at Nsambya, tensions escalated, leading to a violent confrontation.

Alien Skin reportedly demanded a medical report from the doctor, and when his requests were not met, he resorted to aggression.

Sources suggest that the artist attempted to coerce the doctor into providing a falsified postportem report, which the doctor refused, prompting the ensuing violence.

A video circulating on social media captures the chaotic scene, showing the Fangone Forest crew in a heated exchange with hospital staff.

Since the incident Alien Skin’s phone went off, and none of his associates are willing to comment on the incident.

What the police say?

The deputy police spokesperson for the Kampala metropolitan area, ASP Luke Oweyesigyire noted that Alien Skin and other musicians from Fangone Forest are evading authorities.

“The police is still investigating on the cause of the accident that led to the death of a 28yr old Joram Tumwesigye, a resident of Makindye. After his death the gang led by Alien skin attacked doctors and security guards for a medical report. But investigations on both incidents is ongoing and we shall keep you posted,” he says.

He said they investigating the circumstances under which Tuwmwesigye died and anotehr case of assaulting medical staff.
