PICTORIAL: The eighth guild cabinet for the 2025–2026 term at Victoria University sworn in.
The inaugural ceremony was held on Friday 28th February at the university premises in Kampala. 
The event also offered a heartfelt farewell to the 7th Guild Government, whose term was praised for its dedication and leadership that left an indelible.
In an official statement released by the university via X, said “We extend our congratulations to the 7th Guild Government for a term well served,” “Your leadership and commitment to student welfare have positively shaped our community, and your impact will be felt for years to come,” We warmly welcome the 8th Guild Government as they embark on this journey of service and excellence!
The Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Prof. Augustine Osamor Ifelebuegu, who represented the Vice Chancellor, officiated the ceremony.
City Pastor, Wilson Bugembe graced the ceremony as the guest of honor.
