Victoria University in Kampala has announced a groundbreaking partnership with Himilo University, Somalia, aimed at delivering joint postgraduate programmes.
The collaboration marks a significant milestone in advancing higher education in the region by combining the strengths of two leading institutions.

Commenting on the partnership, Prof. Lawrence Muganga, Vice Chancellor of Victoria University, stated “The partnership aims to deliver world-class education to students in Somalia and the region, leveraging the academic resources of Victoria University and the local expertise and infrastructure of Himilo University. The two institutions will work together to provide high-quality education, promote innovation, and foster professional development.”
